Copper a little too rare

Im trying to gather some copper for flour mill quest, but gathering only 5 copper is harder than find a gold :(

I was getting 1-2 a day when I cleared the cave of the ore. Obviously this is RNG based, so your mileage may vary. It does feel quite scarce the ore, I have more uncut gems/quartz than I do ore.

I got 25 iron, 13 uncut quartz, 11 uncut emerald, 4 gold, 1 ruby and only 2 copper and its like already more than 5 days pass

After 6days i got 44iron 12copper 31quarz 3emerald 1rubi 1diamond and 4gold.....copper really is too rare if you think about its use (brewery/quest/crafting)
