Hope this helps 🙌
I was kinda hoping not to play around with that stuff do you think i can limit it in the launch options for the game somehow ?
I don't believe there is a Steam setting to limit FPS. I believe you can set a limit on NVIDIA Control Panel for specific programs, instead of doing an FPS cap globally, but I can't speak for AMD. If you're using an NVIDIA GPU and want to limit just this program, try these steps;
Right-click your desktop
Click Nvidia Control Panel
On the left-hand side, click Manage 3D Settings
On this screen, there are two tabs. One says global settings and one says program settings. The settings you change in the first tab are global in that they always take effect. If you want to change settings for only Chef RPG, and nothing else, you can click the program tab and select Chef RPG from the list.
You can also set it to max of 61 FPS and then scroll down to the global "vertical sync" setting. By default, it will use the application's provided setting, but you can force it on here. If you notice screen tearing with a max frame rate of 60, try setting it to 61 instead and forcing vsync on either globally or only for Chef RPG.
This will keep your GPU from rendering the game at 100+ FPS and hopefully your fans won't have to ramp up as much.
Hope this helps. 🙌
