Reset Skills

I'm sorry for what is probably a stupid question, but does hitting the "reset skills" button make all my levels go back to 1 and I have start over to gain the points back or does it just give me the points back & unlearn all of the learned skills so I can choose more carefully?

It really sucks that you don't earn enough points to get all of the skills, especially since some of them feel so central to the gameplay (like growing crops) but you can't do that without sacrificing other important things (like special guests, etc.)

Someone help please and thanks! Lol I'm just stressed that I'll hit it and loose a ton of progress and it'll save before I can close it and that'll be that.

It resets the Perks you have purchased so you can choose different options.
