BUG？defeat a boss but no creature master achievement?
anyone else have same issue?

Just checking, was the boss you killed the one in Pomeraines quest? if so that is unfortunately not the creature you need to kill to pop the achievement (although I also feel either that creature should count or that the wording of the achievement should change)

The creature you need to kill is inside the volcano. Big guy, you'll know its the one when the music changes and the health bar shows up on the screen.
