Controller / can't read recipes + grilling difficult

Xbox Controller here, went with the suggested key bindings and can't read/unlock from my inventory recipes. I tried literally every button. I also tried putting them into the consumables inventory, doesn't work either. Eventually used my mouse.

Also grilling is very difficult - grabbing the food is easy peasy with the mouse, but grabbing the items with controller very hard. Also used my mouse to get it done eventually.

I just started playing yesterday and had the same issues. When in your inventory (B button) and not the fridge, look at the top of the screen. Hover over new recipe in your inventory and hit L2+A at the same time, that’ll open it.

Grilling kinda sucks but I want to like it 😆 I just had to get use to where to put the tongs to pick up things. DEVs, it’d be really helpful if there was a highlight around the ingredient when your tongs are in the right place to pick it up. Just a thought.
