6-star Rating on 4th Level?

With the recent formula that tom, the developer, shared, I was thinking about Dream Eater's Palace.

From the sounds of it, on other levels that have artifacts, you can achieve a rating of over 6, allowing you to have a few "worse" stats. Since this level doesn't have artifacts, it seems like you then need to be perfect on every other stat.

I'm curious if anyone has gotten a 6-star here and could share their stats? Not really sure what to try to improve. I got a 5-star with the following stats:

Time: 16:25
Accuracy: 98.28%
Deaths: 0
Water: 3 bottles
Perfect Combos: 6
Critters: 2/2

I did a second run and got 4-stars with the following:
Time: 14:11
Accuracy: 100%
Deaths: 0
Water: 1 bottle
Perfect Combos: 8
Critters: 2/2

Hey, I've just pushed the patch live for the 0 deaths/bottles issue. It should all be working as intended now. Appreciate this one was frustrating for people trying to get the high scores.

About the 4th level: You're right, no artifacts means no points for artifacts here. It's a short level so I hope that doesn't feel too mean!

You could purposely try to kill yourself once & see if it awards you? I tried it for myself on the lvl 1 + 2 & was able to get six stars this way

Thanks, I saw that post but hadn't thought about that stat being the one holding me back! Based on the other response, it sounds like the 0 death/0 water issue has since been fixed, but I bet you were right.

Hey, so the bug might be back or something. I just cleared the palace without taking any hits (so no water or dying), killed all the critters, got 100% accuracy, and cleared it in about 15 minutes. And I still only got 5 stars.

dang i just did this and didnt really look at my stats but got 6 stars. deffo know i only drank 1 water and got all critters, no deaths. Acc was at least 90, was quick but fuzzy on that.

Hey, I've not made any changes since the last fixes and we have several people unlocking the achievement for getting all 6 stars now.

One thing to check: how many perfect combos did you get?
Extra info on the above: for this level you need at least 5 perfect combos which can be obtained on enemies during the boss battle

Let me know if that's still not working and I will have another look.

a tip (idk if it requires the damage upgrade) but the shotgun can take out the flying bat-things in a single hit which counts as a perfect!

Does consuming ONE water bottle even with the perfect combos and bugs squished make the difference between 5 stars and 6 stars? 16ish minutes, 12 perfect combos, 90% accuracy but I did drink one bottle

Oh! And do you need to get six stars for every level in one playthrough or can it be a combination of other playthroughs?

Hey, if this is for the Hotel then you're fine on water. If you got every artifact and critter then it sounds like you need either one more perfect combo, or less deaths.

There's some info on this here as it's changing with an update that's coming out tomorrow.

I had been struggling to get that six stars and this post is what finally did it for me so thank you! 9 perfect combos and 5 of them were just taking out bats with one shot lol
