What Routes did you go through for your first run? (Spoiler Heavy discussion)

I went with a very forgiving Michelle route.

- Saved Robyn
- Saved the Dream Eater
- Saved Darryl
- Saved the Duchess

I admit I got very confused by the last one because, while I did want to do something, the question of "Devote yourself" made it seem like it was a delusional/bad ending route based on how it was worded. But I liked it and felt better once the dialog confirmed that it wasn't what I was fearing.

I want to see what following Lucy/The Operator does because that seems like a -real- bad time ending, so I'm curious about it.

Also I admit I really was torn on what to do for Darryl for a very long time because he's an absolute ♥♥♥♥-up of a person.

On my first route, I saved Robyn and the Dream Eater but not Darryl or the Duchess. I felt like Oakley deserved the truth and was scared away by the "devote yourself" choice with Chamuel - so I ended up breaking the curse and escaping back to my normal life.

I've done both Clarissa and Lucy's endings since then and am about to tackle Chamuel's. All very exciting stuff!

Darryl was a SUPER tough sell to me, but in the end I decided he was truly just stupid, and also I did not want to help the angel because the bar ending would have been even worse.

IS Lucy's ending a bad ending or are all the endings presented in a way that are showing Michelle escaping in a way that leaves them (mostly) better off?

ill be blunt lucy is the worst ending by far

I've played just the Lucy ending so far. It's absolutely a bad ending and is very obviously leading to a bad ending the whole time. For more details: It causes Michelle to fall into the delusional and hypocritical mindset that she can change her ex's mind and make her love her again. The game even lampshades this in the final act when Michelle makes a comment to the Duchess along the lines of "you can't make me love you, but I can make my ex love me again".

I can't wait to see how the other routes go lol

That is incredibly funny and I'm happier that this was where it goes so I can't wait to see that. Plus, it seems legit funnier for Lucy to just Be Like That during the normal run.
