[Spoilers] Is there a "true ending"?
I've read the guide and understand there are four endings. Are these just cutscene related or will I miss out on bosses / gameplay?

I don't want to do mean things to the side characters so if Lucy's ending is just a different cutscene I will youtube it.

EDIT: for those that have the same question, all of the endings are just different ending cutscenes. You will not miss out on any content / gameplay so just pick the ending you want

Hi! I've done all the endings now and can safely say that the final fight section is the same for all of them. What differs is your last interaction with the Duchess and the last segment where you can roam around town and see how your action have impacted Michelle and her friends.

Imho, there are two contenders for 'true ending'. My personal choice is Chamuel's ending - it's the one I completed first because I just naturally gravitated to it. It is the most positive for all involved, especially if you've made decisions to help all the couples.

Robyn's ending to me read like a neutral ending and is available on every playthrough.
I found it the most 'realistic' but personally the least entertaining out of the four.

Hope that helps!

I also beat the game with chamuels ending because I naturally gravitated toward it. It was cute seeing them as human after, as with the Duchess. Probably won't bother with the other endings.

I did all the endings because I really wanted the achievements :}

I'd say you can safely just watch them on someone's playthrough without missing out. I think Lucy's was actually my second favourite after Chamuel's

I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question
i've done every ending except chamuel's and there's so much attention to detail from the devs along the way, like different dialogue options, that i do think it's worth the playthrough. lucy's is an absolutely soul-crushing journey, to be fair. there's really fun little bits in all of them.
I really wanted to like Lucy's but it just didn't quite hit for me. A deal with the devil should get you what you want but it doesn't make you happy or comes with strings attached- this felt more like a monkey paw twist. I would have rather the relationship be rekindled but wrong or with Leslie being twisted to be the kind of person that would stay or just not actually having a good relationship, even still.

I totally get you - it did feel like a painful slap on the wrist. But it did ring very true to me on the account of making a deal with the devil + I think that relationship was not meant to be without Michelle changing fundamentally through the story, which doesn't happen as much if she's guided by the hand by Lucy
