Endless is not exactly Endless

I am not sure if this is a hardware issue or an issue with the game but I was able to completely break the endless mode due to some very lucky item pulls. I was running a build that passively generated sparks, and then the sparks would slowly heal me and give me more energy for the cowl. As I had been building up about 40000 sparks at around level 100 I gained the piggy bank item, which turns sparks into boost. My shoes turned rainbow and I made it past level 200 literally never touching the ground, eventually reaching 80000 sparks. At around shard 270 the geometry stared glitching in and out and the portal was visible through the fog of war that limits player vision. At 292 (After I had picked up even more spark generators) the game completely crashed. Is this hardware or is this the game not being made for such a lucky build (I know they upped the amount of items in endless today, so I don't want to pick on the devs for leaving a bug in my favorite feature yet)? Any help on how to fix this or what could've caused it would be great!

Too few items. breaking the game is done pretty quick. Pretty sure that's why the items didn't get front loaded before the patch.
