Game Too Easy

Hello, I'm enjoying this game quite a bit but I'm at Shard 7 and the difficulty hasn't really increased and I'm worried I'm going to beat the game soon without really being challenged... I thought I'd either be getting faster, or the terrain would be getting a little crazier, but I don't think either of those have happened. There's also no 'max speed' upgrades which kind of bummed me out.

Maybe I just haven't gotten to it yet, but this game needs some kind of hard-mode or base speed upgrades that follow you through the game.

wait for shard 10.
impossible to get achievements without tweaking the diffuculty.
you can also decide to make the game harder for you in the settings by tweaking the damages, the precision of landings, the frequency of obstacles and especialy the speed of the stuff behind you.
put game at 125% speed (up to 200) and then come at me saying the same ^^

Didn't know these settings were things! 200km/h is actually what I had in mind when I said increase max speed so I'm excited to give that a try. Thanks for the info
