Really wish I could help you here, I ended up scraping Where Our Ancestors Rest like four different times for four different items lol. I know exactly the item you're talking about but I forget completely where it is - I think it was either in the lower or the middle section, not the highest level

I think this is the one that's just below a traversable branch, central-ish in the lower part of the area. There are small ramps to either side of the item, so if you don't pay attention, you'll jump over it, not getting a prompt to pick it up.
From the fast-travel checkpoint, it's just up the hill.
