Now I am interest in Sonic Origin Plus.
And widescreen for GG may not even be possible, the games would have to be massively reworked to do so. It took the team a year to do Sonic 3, and it really shows with Sonic 3 being a really shoddy port here. We would not have got Plus this soon if they were adding widescreen to 12 games.
Really excited to play Amy in Sonic 3.
I really dislike that this version is going to be effectively replacing the original, at the same cost, but early adopters have to pay extra for it. If that's the case, which is what it's looking like. The upgrade is free for people who haven't bought the game, and penalizes people who supported Sega? Not a good way to treat your fans. (As if Sega has ever cared about their Sonic fans.) It's good that they're making this update, but don't penalize your most supportive fans Sega!
Would have liked to have seen Knuckles' Chaotix as well in this. Who knows, maybe we'll get a Sonic Origins Plus Plus with more chars and games later on. (Wishful thinking there....)
