Sonic 1 and 2 can be extracted to run Sonic 1 Forever and Sonic 2 Absolute.
Missing features from Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 mobile ports.
Denuvo
Content cut from the base collection and sold as DLC.
I think that was before they became free to play but I'll check it out.
Forever, Absolute, and AIR are better than this collection. Seriously. It's easy to find legal APKs of Sonic 1 and 2 mobile versions for Forever and Absolute, and if you got 3&K on Steam previously then you already have a legal ROM for AIR.
Since this collection came out, I've spent more time playing Forever, Absolute, and AIR than the collection. I'm thinking about refunding it. The fanmade stuff is simply better.
Also Sonic 3 and bugs.
Furthermore, at least some of these source ports support mods. See AIR and its support for mods. It's right there in the menu, too. Mods. The word is right there.
