You'd be much better off playing vanilla Sonic 3 AIR and doing a fair comparison as opposed to this which is very intentionally misleading. The pixel blur and a side by side audio would honestly be enough.
Actually, I like the blur they used in Sonic Origins, so they should make it optional for people who don't like it.
Also if devs from Sonic 3 A.I.R. read me, please consider adding Sonic Origins soft blur (so with AA off) to A.I.R. please!
Anti-aliasing greatly improves image quality in 3D games, as long as the quality methods are used. It does nothing for 2D.
I have played sonic 3 complete and sonic 3 AIR, and AIR offers more options for customization, so I would go with it.
