We don't have og Ys 3 or og Ys 4 on PC so I doubt we will get og Ys 5 on PC.

Falcom will probably will do a full 3d remake one day

We do have The Oath in Felghana and Memories of Celceta at least. There is no remake for Ys 5 AFAIK, so having the original would be nice.

There is a remake of V on PS2 but it was handled by Taito instead of Falcom. Although Falcom would probably do a remake themselves instead of re-releasing the Taito one, even if they had the source code of that or something.

Yeah, they don't look that great. Especially the combat compared to the early 2000s Ys games made by Falcom but I have never played them myself.

Didn't Falcom state that The Oath in Felghana and Memories of Celceta are the official Ys III and Ys IV?

They did say they want to do a remake of Ys V I'd say it would probably be the next Ys game since they seem to do like doing remakes after inventing a new gameplay style what they have just done in Ys X
