Episode 10 is the end?

I've seen some stuff online that the game is finished now.. yet the at the end of episode 10 when you leave the police station with Leah, the game ends. it says I've unlocked a new chapter but there is no more chapters? Yet so much is left to do and the story inst anywhere near complete??

Lol no, not by a long shot. There's currently 17 episodes, available to Patreon subs. Eventually all episodes will be released for free, but usually one at a time after a certain period.

why not just put it up for sale on steam so we dont have to sit and wait and just up date it like patreon i love these small company games but this is the biggest issue, i currently have 4 games that im waiting on updates for, 3 of 4 i paid for but they already have updates on other sites it is irritating.

Because they don't charge money for their games. Once finished, it'll be released for free. Patreon gives them a revenue stream, allowing people to pay to access early before they release for free.

That is probably why then they dont feel obligated or dedicated to ppl on steam and they just take their time (because no matter how long it takes they are still making money) there is no reason these games should take almost as long as AAA games to make IMO.

We've been working for months on adapting the game for Steam while simultaneously developing new and future projects. As we're a very small team of developers, some things unfortunately end up taking more time than others.

For the Steam version of SHS, we're updating all the game's code, which has been in development since 2021. We're also remastering practically all 220 animations in the game, improving sound effects, and finally, making everything polished for the launch here. And it won't be long (finally)!

well thank you for the info because i have asked for updates in discord a couple times and no one ever answers me. I really love the game and even my wife has gotten in to it
