Van Pickup

Why is it that sometimes the cars can show up to a job and pickup everything at once, but the vans who have more then enough room always drive off and leave a person behind or packages behind. It makes no sense for a sim. How can i expand to where i cannot see the vehicles and trust that they are doing the job? Makes me not want to expand and definitely nobody wants to click someplace then watch the vehicle get their and drive away so we can send it back to finish the job. The way it is, one job with 6 things to be picked up, you might as well send 6 cars cause the game logic is flawed.

What you pick up is divided into cargo (and heavy cargo, if you have that DLC) and passengers. Passengers won't sit in cargo spaces, you're asking them to climb into the trunk. Cargo can sit in passenger spaces, like putting a bag of groceries on your car seat. If you mismatch the heating and the cooling for a food delivery, you risk ruining the food. Likewise, if the passenger demands heated seating and you don't have it, they complain.

SUVs can take a few passengers, but vans can only take cargo if you have a loader on board. If not, then you only have one passenger seat available. Most cars have little cargo space, but you can expand that with an upgrade. In any case, you have to look at the picture of the vehicle and see its capacity for passengers and cargo, it's easy to see.
