They also added new animations for the actors ... also nothing you do in a second.
So thats a bit of a wild take from you :)
This is still A game about making movies that only has one set... that would be poor even for a demo.
It's just weird that a game that came out over 20 years ago had countless more choices (car, train scifi set, wild west set etc) this has... one.
Also Hope you don't want a bearded actor.
Everything about the game feels like early access, they just didn't label it as such.
i only agree to that in parts.
of course it might be that the devs are doing everything they can right now - but that does not excuse for there behavior with release. This IS an early access title... maybe even very early access.... the game is far from complete, bugged and has almost none of the comfortability features a tycoon game should have. All stuff that usually is done during Early Access and feedback.
This is clearly a rushed release because they were afraid of loosing sales with all the other movie tycoon games coming out later this year. And don't get me wrong... if this had been Early Access i would have given them my money...even if it is not playable ... i would have given them and let them work...gave them feedback from time to time.
BUT with that kind of release practice - that is just not fair to customers and other games do that far better. I NEVER refunded a game on Steam...and i have a lot...even a lot unfinished games, but in this case i refunded. Not because it is Early Access...., but because of the way it was released
the fact i am still looking into discussions, patch notes and even writing something... is the faint hope that this game will become what it was supposed to by the devs.... and maybe the hope that it goes back to Early Access if that is something possible on Steam.
lol why so aggressive. i said i partly agree with you... and no this topic is not JUST about the silence... the OP also said "This launch was rough, it feels very much like a rushed early access game and I truly hope they aren't going to cut and run now they have early sales."
so OP clearly has the same issue like i do... the rushed release.
I said that i only agreed to you in parts...because i do think that you misunderstood the OP. OP is clearly concerned that the devs are scammers and that because of the rushed early access. Saying that OP does not know how to perform an actual job is just aggressive and offensive. So just chill a bit instead of attacking other people.
why is there always someone in steam discussions completely overreacting and offensive...
We are busy fixing the game, we just rolled our second post-launch patch: https://steamcommunity.com/games/1793090/announcements/detail/4149583904669120443
You can expect many more fixes and content coming in the next weeks. We are committed.
We will be replying to forum posts here of course when we get to them. You can also visit our Discord (linked in the FAQ).
