I'm having some issue reconciling the fact I'm a billionaire in the 1920s. I feel like at this rate, I'll be making hand over fist by the 60s, and money will be no object. I've purchased shares of every other studio, and have zero consequence for pay raises to keep everyone happy. With the economy growing in time, I'm sure I'll be extremely loaded. It's only 4 years into the game, and I'm stupid rich.

I know it sounds like a stupid issue to complain about, but my movies are pulling in 25mil easy in the 20s. I know there's some tweaks to the housing system too. Anyone else seeing this crazy economy working in their favor a little too well?

I've heard it from a lot of other players as well. Seems to be one of the major issues right now. Also a reason I haven't actually played yet as it seems gamebreaking. At least to me getting stupid reach in no time is breaking any tycoon type of game. Apparently even on hard difficulty (which probably only changes the starting cash). Hard difficulty should mean struggling with money with movies barely raking in enough cash to get by or even not making any profit if sliders etc. are all wrong and it was a bad movie. No sense for me to play the game until this is fixed.
One more issue with this game where I feel like, if the devs would publicly mention a roadmap, or even if they didn't and the game were in Early Access, I'd be comfortable supporting it. At this point, it isn't clear that there will be any content improvements at all beyond hotfixes (unless I've missed some major announcement).

The Devs are very active on the game's discord and have mentioned that they are aware of this issue and are working on a solution, among many other patches to come.

Definitely the biggest issue so far, maybe also with the pace of the game.
I'm I think in 1921 and I released at least 10 movies... I have bought all the shares of the competitorzs. I wanted to continue to check if later on movies are longer in the making (I guess it would make sense), but yeah, by ten I will be having so much money by spamming those movies.

I was wondering if changing the game so that a day would be 3 / 4 months would help? ALong with increasing research costs (I was also wondering if Research shouldn't have a higher cost but be faster?)

Definitely increase wage of high ranked actors, sets should be more expensive.

I don't know. I love the game, but the lack of challenge is a bit annoying.

I'm having the same experience. Definitely a balance issue.

I'm in 1928 and have over 600 million dollars, I have 100% shares in every company and the top 6 slots in the Star Charts are all my people. It feels like I've completed the game, but I haven't even unlocked TV shows yet

+1 Agree with that, especially the writing part. That would help making the game a bit more challenging.

A little personal investigation would have led you to discover they are aware and in the process of improvements which will be added to future fixes.
