The only avenues available to MIstwalker now if they want to come back are Nintendo and PC. And they've shown zero interest in doing anything outside of games for mobile. Although Sakaguchi did write a quest line for FF14 after being invited to do so by Yoshida iirc.
Also MS will never greenlight remasters of Lost Odyssey or Blue Dragon because there is no financial incentive to do so, MS regards both IPs as complete failures. The best we can hope for is another company buying the IPs from them but again there's no incentive for anyone to do so.
