Z-Burst Dash consumes too much ki and Z-Counter is too fast
In my opinion the game has become too static now.
Players look at each other from a distance and start shooting ki blasts and recharging their ki in a loop
High-Speed Dragon Dash (New Action) is too slow to compensate for the distance.
Maybe it is better to reduce the ki consumption for Z-Burst Dash or increase the speed of High-Speed Dragon Dash.
I think it is better to restore the ki consumption for Z-Burst Dash to 1 (or 1 and a half)
Z-Burst Dash is breakable so those who abuse this mechanic can be punished. I repeat the game is much more static now, and don't come and tell me that the game is more strategic now. Because there are more defensive mechanics than offensive mechanics in this game.

-Also the teleport battle now, after the third vanish seems to watch a video at 10x speed. Maybe the speed is a little too much^?

What do you think about these changes?

The pace of the game feels so much slower and dull. Cheesers are just taking advantage of the lacking ability to close distance and spamming ki blasts and desperately charging up NON STOP now. At least before if you noticed you were against a loser that doesn't want to fight and only wants to chargeup/spark/watch cutscenes you could keep up the pressure with OG Dragon Rush.. now it's like "Nah how about you do this slow motion, named version of basic flight and give your opponent 10 seconds to hold Perception/Charge Ki/Make a coffee"

maybe z burst dash can be reverted, but z counter? z counter must stay as it currently is. in fact, increasing the ki cost and making the input window even smaller than it is now would probably make it better. z counter pre-update was just a matter of who runs out of ki first OR who has the least amount of ki loses. now you have to actually earn the z counter by actually reacting and pressing in time. it does make me wonder if there exists a script for it as i've seen some people do it consistently, never missing even once despite the window being shorter the longer it goes on

I'm glad I'm not the only person who has doubts about the current z burst dash state.
About the z counter.. maybe it's fine like now but the problem is that in online it really becomes a challenge.
Maybe in offline this system is fine but in online it's a miracle to be able to see the input. because of people who use wifi, server latency problems etc.
Maybe a compromise between this mechanic and the previous one would have been better.

its a challenge if theres a delay between opponents, but thats it. not something spike can fix, and yes i know they're incompetent despite the fact that BT is THEIR franchise.

r2+a or r2+a cross and you behind them in half a second what you are you talking about, throw a ki blast before you do it. this is like month 1 issues. If someone gets instant sparking or especially charges a full ki bar it is because you let them lol.

You complain about the same issues everytime you post, give us a gameplay video to give you advice please.

i am someone that fought insanely aggressively. so i know about the hit of dragon dash as i used the crap out of it

this change is good. dragon dash is now a tactical thing to use. my aggression has only been slightly effected

their only mistake is adding the fast dragon dash instead of just making all movement faster

ki dash was a thing in all the BT games if i remember correctly

Just remember that for the fast dragon dash you have to hold the inputs. Otherwise you will just get the slow dash.

I don't know, for me everything seems slower.
it's a continuous recharging and shooting fireballs from a distance hoping that the your fireball reaches the opponent before entering sparking mode.
Everything consumes ki and we're there recharging to do something so I don't see any tactic in this mechanic. this way the only characters with an advantage are those who instantly recharge their ki.
High-Speed Dragon Dash doesn't make much sense because it's predictable and too slow.
