Game Crashes on Launch
This just happened Dec 12th 2024, after latest patch. I have never crashed prior.

What I've tried:
- Reinstalling the game
- Verifying game files
- Updating Windows
- Updating Nvidia driver
- Shutdown/Restart Machine
- Changing Launch options
- -dx11, -dx12
- I checked Program Files (x86) > Steam > Logs
- I don't see any logs recorded under SparkingZero
- This title is allowed on my firewall settings

I do know it's a hardware issue of some kind -- this game runs fine on my Steamdeck and clearly for many others.

I have a
- RTX4070
- 13th gen i9
- 64GB RAM

I am not sure what the problem is so looking to ask the community for advice here. Thank you!

To clarify, I was playing yesterday, Dec 11th, 2024 right up until the patch window (00:00).

I also combed through the logs, but didn't really notice an error or warning there.

Other games work fine as well. I've tried about 4 different ones.

I find a solution, at least it worked for me: uninstall Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, delete all the folders related to it, reinstall the game, lunch it. Let me know.

Oh completely deleting Dragon Ball Sparking Zero from
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\
worked for me as well. my game launches and my save loaded from the cloud.

To be clear I deleted the entire folder of Dragon ball Sparking Zero from that file path. I still recommend backing up your save file (MainGameSaveData).

I guess simply uninstalling doesn't work...so try removing all contents related as Rob mentioned. Thank you!

Don't mention it ;)
