aside from that, dodging and deflecting is irrelevant as this issue pertains to being hit, if you eat a dodon ray, you get the FULL knockdown duration and cant do anything whereas other supers dont stunlock you for the full duration. the lack of i-frames on wake-up is a legit issue as well as it means you cannot defend once you can finally get up, when you get up you shouldnt have to worry about eating a(nother) super, you should just go straight back to neutral, not to taking one true last hit in a combo
adding the lack of i-frames on the wake up roll animation makes this even worse as it just means you can practically extend the knockdown duration and add another dodon ray or two. it's just chaining supers essentially which is not balanced and not good design. i repeat, this is not about skill, its about a certain property of a super in the game, a property that is unbalanced.
