Question regarding online PvP
Do you already know what type of connection will be used?
I've only had bad experiences with peer-2-peer so far and that would actually be a knock-out criterion for me.

Unfortunately, it happens far too often that one of the players has a bad internet connection, resulting in extremely laggy fights for both players.

The game isn't out yet, how do you want anyone to have info on that? Just wait for October 8th and the first reviews about it, and you'll get your answer.

Because it is not uncommon for information to be shared before release, such as what type of connection will be used in online PvP.

Unfortunately bad internet connections are likely going to cause issues regardless of their back end server hosting or peer to peer connections.
While one is significantly worse than the other, just put it in the category that your will experience will differ with Online play.

even if the netcode is freaking amazing its going to probably be a horrible experience with most dragonball fans because they have awful internet and dont understand using an ethernet cable either. its going to be like most fighting games but like x100000 laggers who cant comprehend that their internet and crap wifi cannot handle online play
