nobody in the forums here figured out that the 100gb reqs were for PS5 (shocker), no official specs or storage reqs have been revealed for pc nor xbox yet

Well, as far as i know usually PS5 games (i repeat, usually, not always) are compressed on a special way so they use less GB (also their graphics are not as good as PC ones so that also lowers storage needed). So knowing this, if its already 100 GB on PS5, i do actually fear how many will be on PC once its released. I bet on 150.

normally on pc you'd need a bit less. would it still be a big game? yeah probably but as things stand right now with pc, nothing has been revealed officially so far about its requierments so don't start panicking just yet

this is a very strong indicator that this game will have one of the worst port treatment, the game does not have any visual or technical properties to require 100gb, this usually happens when devs reuse assets from previous games, they dont delete their old stuff so game size increases, another thing is the massive use of pre rendered cutscenes which is stupid, but either way, the performance also takes a massive hit.

Its insane how careless they are, to waste another potential nd beloved franchise.

Ps5 is 56 GB, it requires 100Gb to get installed because it usually downloads a compressed version before extracting the game. The pc version size approximation can be found on the official Japanese website of the game, and that's 33 Gb. 38 Gb for xbox.

You might even consider it requires 56 GB to install on ps5 because of compressed files storage system the ps5 uses, and that the final size is around 33, just like pc.
