60-65 USD / EURO is not cheap for a game... Specially when it also says it has in game purchases. I have litterally tried all of the Dragon Ball games with my kid. And its all the same in game transactions none sence or DLC crap. Then the game docent sell and it get super discounted because its literally a very few people who actuall play the game according to Steamcharts. Try to run a family of 4 people, and kids asking for V bucks or DLC cosmetic every now and then, before commenting will you!

Bro, the game is very complete with no DLC. The extra that we pay is for 3 days early and cosmetics, that I believe its unlockable by playing. I got the Ultimate Edition, which brings also the 7 super dragon balls, you can also farm those in game. You can buy Standart Edtion and get all stuff later

This game docent have micro transaction, but it does have Ingame purchases and it says too on the description. On top of that they gonna put DLC, like every other Bandai game that comes along ... This game cost 700 NOK 67 USD wich is INSANE.
games for that price might seem "insane" to you, but please ACTUALLY think about how much time and money goes into these games. have you SEEN the trailers? this game is well worth the 60 or even 70. id even buy it for more to be honest. from what i've seen, the devs deserve it.

Yeah a bit more fancy than the original series... Pretty much a Copy of a copy. Of course it goes time to game development. But that docent justify the "gamling" sales that our kids are experience!

Misinformation? Say that to the European Commission about this BIG ISSUE! I am too a parent dealing with this at School with other parents. I been actually discussing this terms with School for the past 6 years! So I know what I am talking about. Its not only DLC its also V-Bucks and microtransaction of plenty of games. !
You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Everyone else can see that you’re not being honest and just spreading misinformation. If you can’t see your own lies then you have a problem

Misinformation? You sure about that? Here is covered recently on national news:
https://www.nrk.no/norge/forbrukerradet-vil-forby-virtuell-valuta-i-spill-1.17039908

I have pretty good idea of what the problem is about. 17 countries with 21 Customer agencies is actually delivering this to EU commission and I would not be surprise if Bandai is among this devs...

What are you a developer wanting a big bonus on DLC sales or something?

look friend I understand you have a family to mantain and maybe youre struggling to reach the end of the month I dont think the real issue is the game but your country they should rise the paycheck. This game will have DLC and im happy with that they are extending the roster which is cool and I say it again youre not obliged to buy those DLC all the main characters are in the base game.

guys like the OP complaining about the Price seems to be a day to day activity in this forum 🤣, where have you guys been living the last couple years? in a cave? these prices have been the standard in the gaming Industry for years now. and then he brings up his kids so people can feel bad about him. thats so freaking weak, aint nobody here tricking you or your kid. nobody is forcing you to spent money on OPTIONAL DLC! so how the hell is it a trick if a game offers that for their costumers?

seems like a normal priced game for this era.
you have to consider much more what goes into developing a game than just spinning your own idea of it.

cost of development needs to be made back or make a profit.
the number of people working on games need to get paid.
the technology that's becoming far more advanced and capable. devs need to learn to work with this stuff
translators,engineers,animation,engine development etc..
stuff adds up to serious amounts money to make, so the price tag at least needs to offer some of it back.

plus you don't have to spend in any game on micro transactions/dlc etc
if you are gunna complain now wait until the games become more advanced and intense when that price tag reaches £150 maybe even more for a full game.

We all miss the days of when you paid a small amount and got full game but things don't work that way.

Considering inflation and the fact that games have been $60 is insane tbh. Put it in perspective, its the same price as when i was a kid back in 2004-2005.

in that time - just in my own life - ive served in the military, gone through the 2008 crash, gotten out of the military, started a family, went through the covid epidemic, then the hyper-inflation that followed it... and games are still on average starting at $60

during all of that inflation didnt stop...

from a development stand-point selling a game at $60 is a loss from 20 years ago and yet the cost for making them has skyrocketed too... its a miracle this and all games are at the same price
