Day 1: Someone Tell Me How to Stop Soft Stun Lock with Regular Punch Combo
I'm going against people who are basically punching until they stop the combo right before they vanish and it basically stun locks you the whole fight until they kill you. they can rip off 30-50k in dmg just on punches.

What's the counter? Vanish/Block, perception and R3 (PS5) does not do anything at all to stop this.

All counters work unless they're hitting your back, in that case it's the Up+Square counter.

Super counter, up+square. You can counter by hitting that combination right when your opponents attack lands. Spamming it will place you constantly in the cooldown frames of the technique, likely preventing you from escaping. Best way to get it is to try ever second or so when a punch lands. Funnily enough, really fast characters are easier to counter because they're almost always landing a hit.

What he's describing is a common technique utilized in tenkaichi. His opponents are stopping the combo before finish and restarting it instead. The counter to use for it is super counter.

If it's just a reset, you can sidestep or use the new vanish too
