PC controller not letting me use left bumper (LB)

I just downloaded sparking zero expecting to play but stopped at the tutorial because i cant use LB, so i cant even jump. My LB works in every other game, and I just bought the controller brand new of amazon. BTW its a xbox controller.

Check Steam Input and make sure LB is actually mapped to LB.
I saw some people saying they had to reset things in Steam (which is weird as hell, but whatever)
