So is $70 the norm now?
Maybe stop using this horrible engine called Unreal if it’s so expensive to produce mediocre results. Also Unreal runs like ass and looks objectively worse and more uniform than Unity for the performance hit it incurs.

they will keep publishing 70 dollar games until they decide to publish 80 dollar games, the beatings will continue until morale improves

there is no "until people stop buying them", people don't just not buy games for brands like dragon ball

This game shouldn’t cost more than $40. Are production costs really so high that this game needed to cost $70? Seems like a terrible engine decision, especially for this art style. $70 for a Dragonball game, and I’m sure it runs way worse than it should because of Unreal Engine, and have the same ugly shaders and post processing that every UE game uses, making it look like a blurry yet aliased mess.
i have no knowledge of how expensive any of this is i just know that the only dragon ball game i'm aware of not launching at full price was Breakers

i doubt it has anything to do with UE5

it's actually very well optimised, even runs on the steam deck no issue and the file size in about 30gb

"Unreal runs like ass and looks worse than unity..."

"Laughs in Black myth Wukong." ? Unity doesn't have anywhere near the tech UE5 has.

you’re genuinely broke if you think $40 is what the price should be, most DBZ games like FighterZ costed $60 at launch and I put so much time into that game since day 1.

This was the only $70 game I’ve ever bought, and honestly no complaints here

Well I think this game deserves this price tag for the amount of fan service it offers. It has so so many anime quotes and it literally feels like you are playing an anime. Both animation and voice acting are superb. Graphics look amazing as well and the shading is on point. For me, this is money well spent, especially considering how much time I am going to spend playing this game and having fun.
Go to a CD Key site if you want cheaper. Still complaining after that then you’re too poor to be gaming in the modern era

$70 has been the "norm" for AAA major releases since video game companies decided to join everyone else and use the pandemic as a reason to jack up their prices.

Runs perfect. Smooth 60 fps on both my 4090 desktop and my Ally X.

bro doesn't even own sparking zero instead of getting a job you'd rather complain about a good game with actual effort and love being put into it being 70$ and not something you could afford like 10$
