Am I the only one who thinks Great Ape Vegeta is easy???

Everyone acts like he's the hardest thing ever in the early game but for me he was probably the easiest fight I've done so far? You literally just gotta spam kamehameha. Am I missing something here?

I think it's only hard if you don't realize that Sparking! is the best way to damage him since he's a giant character. It's just like the previous Budokai Tenkaichi games which is one thing I loved about this fight.

I guess its easy if you cheese but i guess its hard if ia want to counter every move grab and tp you do... its bad ia but still ia

In my experience he blocks the Kamehameha 80% of the time. My strat was using the Max Power combo since he then takes hit stun.

I beat him in every branch first try, except the one where you fight both base and great ape in the same fight. But even then my main struggle was against base Vegeta and I was only losing to Great Ape Vegeta because I was already low health when it got to that. Still only took a few tries.

Now, that branch where you solo the entire Ginyu Force? There's a challenge.

His supers are really easy to avoid. All you have to do is dodge the super and immediately use a kamehameha. He can't block then. And he spams supers pretty frequently so you get quite a few hits in.

i got deleted a few times because my fighting skills were rusted, but i quickly got gud again and defeated him by spamming solar flare and backing up for charging into sparking mode.

I didn't even think of that. I don't use abilities nearly enough. How long does he stay stunned?

He wasn't hard. There are way harder things later on especially in the what if branches.
