Can't advance in the Story mode

I don't know if it's just me, but in the story mode, after some fights I can't go further when there's a discussion between the character (goku discussing with chichi after the cell arc for example), can someone help me please ?

Did you defeat Cell as Goku? You're not supposed to win that fight, if you beat him you unlock an alternate ending. Fight him again, and just hold out long enough for Goku to give up, then you can move on to the Buu Saga. The stories have branching paths and alternate what-if scenarios.

for any situation like this: refresh yourself with what happened in the anime. defeat cell? goku didn't do that. defeat dabura? gohan didn't do that. etc.

I am stuck on vegetas story, after fighting kid boo. Goku throws his spirit bomb, the fight is won and i dont know what to do.
