Goku Black Arc Alternate Conditions

Are the devs saying I gotta kill both zamasu and goku black within a minute or something. Because Zamasu automatically switches out with goku black even after destroying him in like 10 seconds and then I defeated goku black but it still continues with the main storyline. Like I get it needs to be challenging, but just because you make a time limit of literally 20 seconds where the AI is vanishing behind you all the time not really leaving you room to counter back is not challenging. It just straight up feels unfair.

Wait, you managed to beat Black and STILL it just continued with the normal story?! Motherf... I'm sorry, but how the Hell are you supposed to do that one then? Because as you said, the second you get Zamasu to 2 HP bars or lower, he says 1 line and switches, it doesn't even give me enough time to get off the Limit Breaker Kamehameha (which *should* kill at that little HP).

I don't know if I got bad timing or not because his last line was playing (the one where he talks about feeling his blade or something) and I killed him what I felt was last second. But I'm not sure. It's crazy you basically have to do it twice though. One with zamasu and goku black and then the literally next fight with zamasu, goku black, and fused zamasu

Not sure but the alternate condition is the same for both fights, "Defeat Zamasu and Goku Black quickly"

I just did both these quests and they're not as hard as they seem. What I do to beat these "quick" alternative endings is go into sparking mode, do a full chain rush once or twice then end it with an ultimate. Rinse and repeat. The AI for the most part doesn't know how to react to a normal sparking rush combo.

Unfortunately they get in my butt the second I get more than two bars of ki. Just can’t stagger them as they just seemingly move so fast

Bruh HyperDaniel, I even lowered the damn difficulty and it seems no matter what things play out the same. Do I have to switch out and use vegeta when fighting zamasu or something? Because it automatically switches back to goku when goku black starts fighting.

Lowering the difficulty locks you out of the alternate path, so.... That's not the best solution.

Yeah I finally realized that after a bit. I beat the first what if now I'm on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fused zamasu one

Just go for a normal rush combo until the enemy does a z counter. counter with your own to knock em back and use your rush blast to launch em away. Now you have enough time to use Sparking.

Honestly reading this thought this was going to be absurdly difficult, but I somehow gaslit myself thinking I needed to kill them before they fused.

Nope. Just keep reaching Sparking and Spam the ult, even after they fused.
