UI is super strong too. but Gogeta seems worse. The he deals over a bar with a single autocombo, he has a ton of health, and that instant sparking while being already a transformed SSJ4.
Not to mention that he's attacks are super fast in general, so he spends less time doing the damage (for example during sparking duration more output can be done).
He's just a top tier of a top tier.

UI isn't broken people it's easy to deal with him

The developers were pretty clear that the game is "balanced" around DP battles and you shouldn't expect strict balance between characters. It's not surprise that Ranked Singles quickly degenerated into picking the same few 9-10 DP characrters.

Hopefully the devolopers add another DP bracket for weaker characters or some rules to singles (like having to start in base form, no fusions, etc) so its not just SSJ4 Gogeta all day

Try Single instead of DP battle.
High Trust, 4+ Connection, no language preference no items.

Why would you do single? That's exactly where units like ssj4 gogeta etc shines. Picking someone canonically weaker is actively gimping yourself.


Being able to pick 3 mid range fighters in DP that can transform to exactly that level + added benefits of doing so trumps a single character starting out like ssj4 and he'll have less characters.


DP > single in terms of balancing.

Just battled a Gogeta SSJ4, he's OP as frick. My opponent's always losing with our melee battle, but once he goes Sparking(instantly, he doesn't even need to charge), he ends me with the Rush Chain + Ultimate Combo.

He’s definitely far stronger than most characters, it’s very noticeable.
Obviously you can still win if you’re considerably better, but relatively similar skill levels Gogeta will definitely stomp.
Wish there was a way to sort of filter out some characters when you queue up, else when the fun period of the game runs out, every single battle is going to be Gogeta, UI Goku and a couple others maybe.

I see alot of top ranked players use SSJ4 Gogeta, I never tried SSJ4 Gogeta in actual matches, but I tested him a few times in training mode. Besides being a really good character he's actually fun—super fast buttons, great skills, strong supers, and flashy moves.

There's no point in complaining about people picking the same characters repeatedly; it happens in every game. I just tuned into a stream where the streamer was constantly complaining about UI Goku, saying they are bad, when the game isn't even out—so cringe. What did you expect? People are going to play the most popular characters. Instead, focus on your gameplay and how you can improve to win.

Games been out for a few days for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition Owners.

I think you should be ashamed of yourself for this comment. I don't play this game online, but common sense dictates two things. A) People will play who they like, regardless of who else is using that character. B) Many people do not like losing, or feel they need to use a stronger character to help makeup for the lacking in skill. Comments like yours are what is wrong with people. Just nasty for the sake of being nasty. Maybe take a good long hard look at yourself, and figure out why you feel you need to act so vile over a meaningless game.

Infinite combos quite literally do not exist, there's a counter for every single thing in the game. They can only be infinite if the opponent doesn't know what to do, but if they do, there's no infinite.
