I'd award you btw but my points are low atm.
I've heard it can get better if we add IA behaviors with capsules (the ones you can purchase) but that should not be necessary..
I do agree with OP though regarding fighting the AI using melee in Super difficulty. The goal is basically to get on each other's back and rock some combos and, if they counter, to figure out the timing to counter their counter
You can blame the devs for this and it is also a problem online against players. Once someone is on your back, there is one move to get them off and it isn't reliable in the slightest. Revenge counter should work at any time, as it costs meter, but it doesn't. Once someone is on your back, you lose 5 defense moves and have 1 left. The AI generally doesn't get out of this, but on difficulty 20, they do it a lot.
BTW the game is getting out tomorrow, sadly touch grass !! ...
