believe it or not Online is actually a small part of the package.
you can do everything and even more offline.
The game was designed 1st and foremost as a Fun non competitive fanservice game for the fans.
The game does not try to take itself to seriously when it comes to online PvP its more of a secondary thing.
I personally never ever gonna touch online pvp well ONLY for the few steam achivements it has.
Also ignore these baiting trolls.
So, as other guy saying, like ya get it, short story mode, slideshow cinematics, blah blah blah. So like, beyond that experience what do you see as being the largest timesink for you as continue to play the game?
Game looks awesome. Like reinstalling Xeno right now just so can scratch that itch, but it's about price of SZ to catch up on the DLC lol I mean, may as well upgrade if the time investment is going to be same kind of rewards I get from Xeno right. But lacking much experience beyond typical drunk haze in college playing budokai with group of people in common room, what do you do exactly? (I know...it's a fighting game xD, mean like gameplay loop kinda thing right, one in Xeno for example being doing TP grind for unlocks/levelling char etc).
so about 24 hours worth of content, pretty fun so for. I skip the slideshows and only watch the Sparking Episodes as those are the only ones worth watching tbh.
tbh you can wait for a sale, I like DBZ and the old Budokai Tenkaichi 3 fast-pace fighting style. just watch some dudes playing and you can decide if its worth or not
The story mode for example IS pretty long don't listen to people saying they did in in 3 hours or 7 hours... im at like 10+ hours and STILL at the 1st Goku story line and there is like 6-9 story lines, im also doing the what if side stories that some of them actually interesting it takes ALLOT of time to 100% the whole story.
There are the different tournament modes where you fight randomly selected fighters and even cans et up your own rules if you want. gives huge ammount of zeni if you win a tournament.
There are challenge/Costum modes that Developers made ALLOT of them and even players can make their costume ones and you can beat them for rewards.
There is also the Zeno and Whis achivement/challenge rewards that you can try to collect clear them out for rewards.
Also my main objective is clearing the game 100% and buying everything from the in game Zeni store. you gonna need milions of zeni lol
There were some fights where i was stuck for an hour...
What fights were you stuck on? The hardest ones I find were Frieza fighting SSGSSJ Goku and Vegeta and the one where you fight Goku Black + Zamastha for their alts.
Beating perfect cell before the time limit to get the bonus stuff
Goku black is just nonstop comboing me the very moment the fight starts and not even giving me a few seconds of breathing room til im almost dead while also almost always perfectly dodge/teleport/counter the few attacks i finally could do just to keep comboing me lol
I aint gonna be able to do the Bonus what if story against Goku black no freaking way without a patch or something that relaxes the ai a little bit...
Tournament saga Ultra Goku vs Jiren I literally had 6 back to back transmissions trying to get behind each other every time I try to do a combo, and mid combo he will counter block you, which you need to just combo block back.
this game is ironically cancer but once you get used to AI cheating behavior they become predicable and its easier from then on.
