There is a specific hour for launch, and it's the same for everyone. In 22:40 hours.

There was no pre-load for Early Access players, so I doubt they'll do it for the regular launch either. You'll be able to download it when the game is officially released.

However are you telling me never in your life have you spent an entire day looking forward to something only to find out at the last moment it isn't happening? Okay, so I read through everything in these comments and it's mostly annoying. I was hoping to get a solid answer in it.

Just to verify, the game is releasing officially at midnight, US time, correct? So the east coast of the US is the first to hit midnight, so it's safe to assume that at midnight, people on the east of the US will be able to download it?

I wanna know if it's worth staying awake for or not.

See I am not the only person who finds this ♥♥♥♥ needlessly confusing when all the information could be readily available on the Library page for the game.
Also to answer your question mate; no you should probably just go to bed, the game is (for some ungodly reason) apparently coming out at 6pm EST, so not for another 21-ish hours.

No, midnight on the 10th(so 00:00AM October the 11th technically), in Central European timezone.

Like 6pm on the 10th, Pacific Standard Time. Which is 72hrs I think from the pre-release launch time. This is also just what been reading online for the past couple days as an interested bystander, but seems to be the consensus.
