Goku Chapter 7 - Tournament End - What the ...?

So I finished the tournament in chapter 7. Whats now? Did I missed something?
No Bling Bling Message? No Staff Roll?
Feels like no nothing cares about, that you've just completed a character campaign.

I haven't finished Goku's arc yet but the end of the Piccolo arc does have a staff roll. Is it possible you've wandered into one of the What If paths by accident (easy to do in Goku's mode, I've noticed) and haven't beaten the "canon" final fight yet?

Yeah it's easy to miss the correct path, because the time runs out and BAM you have lost and you are part of the what if now.
In the case of chapter 7, I beat Jiren in the matter of time to only get a nother short stop motion video. Thats it. No nothing more.

Goku beating Jiren on his own instead of getting help by Frieza and Android 17 is a What if scenario but at the same time the game has lots of "alternate ending" battles that are just that - no what if Saga but another cutscene.
If you do the proper one - don't beat Jiren fast but take your time, then this will lead to the correct ending and thus after that you get the ending cinematic and Staff roll

There is 2 ending 1st is you need to defeat jiren when you transformed into MUI before the dialog ended...2nd is after the dialog end u can go ahead and defeat him after that it will bring you to next fight Jiren.. Frieza, Android 17 as your team member....1st ending is alternate ending 2nd ending is true ending just like in anime series

Can someone explain in great detail how to get the main ending? I've wasted far too much time beating this mission too quick and getting the what-if, or too much time waiting out and dying to each individual part with dialog. I have waited for what feels like each and every dialog to beat Jiren's face in, but no matter what I do I'm always given the same what-if ending where I beat him within a certain time frame.

You did the What If first. Go the the last fight, press start and press the Battle Details menu.

The objective is the one you are looking for not the alternative condition.

If you fight Jiren normally at some point Vegeta should say "Go on Kakarot. It's time to put Jiren down"
After that you should beat him and then reach the canon ending of the fight. If you beat Jiren before Vegeta can say this, then you reach the alternate ending

Yeah that's the weird thing, during one attempt I definitely made sure to wait until after he said that, and then I beat Jiren right after, got the same ending.
