So what?
The prices are perfectly fine. We are in the inflation era. Literally everything had gone up in price. Not just gaming. For example housing prices, food prices, bills, clothing, drinks. Absolutely everything has inflated. To complain is silly cos this is life now

two days of work to buy ultimate edition, but I'm happy :)

I guess it depends on the area. I think I got lucky, because the ultimate edition on steam is just as expensive as the standard edition on PS5.

I don't think I've ever bought a single game asking for $70 or more. So the price is definitely not for me. If the game is good enough, I would probably get it on key reseller site. Which is unfortunate since the developers wont see a dime from it, but oh well.

There are plenty of people getting this for retail price. The devs are definitely not losing any dimes

The fact I got to "respect" people like this due to steam's community guidelines blows my mind.

Is it hurting you in particular that people choose to buy at retail price? It really shouldn’t. What people do with their money is their business, not yours

gaming was never cheap since the early 90s. Do you guys remember when Street Fighter II SNES cartridge was 99.99 just because it was so popular back in the day. Many of us gamers including me had to do paper routes work in Dominos, and other food joints just to get it. So stop complaining about prices today.

I AM talking about myself and how I'm going to spend MY money.

You’re a nobody. How you are going to spend your money is extremely unimportant. Make like a first timer in a maze and get lost!

PC games are easy to find discounts for. If you subscribe to humble bundle monthly, you get up to 20% off even on launch. For this game it's 15% off, so I can pre-order for $50 if I wanted. You can also find good deals on GOG from time to time, or you could go to places like cdkeys if you don't mind supporting places like that.
