this game is a platform to ship modern bandai products. ie Heros, Super, Diama
and fyi i was a fan of super 17 in BT3 but this game we get 17 (super)
doubtful as he was the one story boarding diama. DB as a series is about to get a whole hell of a lot worse now that hes gone. prepare for DB Corporats
It is obviously strange that Kami's Lookout and Planet of Bilth are not standard equipment.
In the DLC, there are not even any RR stages.
The Kid Gohan bojack costume has not yet been unlocked.
The data should exist, though.
It's not laziness, but Bandai have no idea what they want.
And sure, it's more alike Dragon Ball than Z, more adventuring than fighting, but that's most certainly a good thing.
Sure, you can choose between day, afternoon, or night, but there are iconic Dragon Ball stages that are completely missing. Some of them are even accessible through mods, which only adds to the frustration.
Bandai has made a ton of money with this game, and it feels like they’ve just said, “Well, that’s it. We released the game, added a DLC with a few characters, and in two or three years, we’ll release another one with the characters we didn’t have time to include.” And, of course, we’ll end up buying it (myself included).
Bandai needs to learn how to take better care of their fans. A Dragon Ball fighting game like this isn’t purchased by fans of traditional “fighting games” like SF, MK, TK, or even FighterZ. This type of game targets a very specific audience that wants to fully enjoy the Dragon Ball experience. That audience needs to be treated with care.
I think they’ve done a pretty good job with Xenoverse 2. There are small, free updates that keep the game alive. Here, though, the biggest update so far has been adding split-screen level selection... what an accomplishment.
short answer yes... I still had hope that this game could be resurrected somehow with this DLC but at this point it's becoming a joke
I would love to see Tambourine and Cymbal too.
