There was a moment in time where people were modding the game to put gohan black into custom battles. and non modded players could play them because he was in the code. Though anyone who did it or copied the scenarios for personal use got banned.

I personally used it to get all of the custom battle related zeno tasks done fast before getting banned from posting custom battles lol.

You missunderstand him. It's not locked behind finishing a story mode. It exists only during specific what if story mode. Can't be unlocked.

It's literally a reskin of Goku Black. Who cares? Just mod him in if you want to use him.
