Save data issues
I just recently bought a new computer and moved all my games and stuff over, re-downloading DBSZ. I have no issues starting up the game itself, but once I click "Start" it refuses to load my save, bringing up a notification that, "it can't load my save due to a lack of downloadable content". It appears to let me continue passed that if I create a totally new save data without the downladble stuff and my previous progress.

I have the Ultimate edition and I've checked to see if my downloadable stuff is downloaded and it appears to be. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled it along with verifying the games integrity multiple times with no success.

Anybody have any ideas?

I forgot to mention, that I have also tried running it as admin at the source application in common. It doesn't change anything either.

"Fix: I figured out how to fix the issue on Steam! You need to uninstall the game first then go to Steam Settings then Download and select clear download cache. After Steam restarts and you log back in, reinstall the game and the issue will be fixed! Or at least that is what worked for me! I hope it works for anyone else having this issue!"

"the fix is very easy just go to game files and check the dlc content. its very likely that the game forgot to download the dlc."

"OKAY - THE FIX IS TO DEACTIVATE YOUR DLC THEN ACTIVATE IT AGAIN IN THE LAUNCHER. THAT APPEARS TO WORK FOR ME."

"a bit different thing worked for me:

disable all DLCs

run the game and try loading save - it'll fail

enable all DLCs

run the game and load the save - now it worked"

Thanks for trying to help, I haven't been able to play the game basically since launch it didn't seem to fix my issue however.

From what I can tell, it seems to assume have DLC's that I've never had, Victory Aura and Martial Arts Packs respectively.

Since I've never had them in any format (mods and such), I can't install them and the game is locked in a state of confusion. I'm actually unsure if starting a new save would even fix it.

And those -holes at bandai namco support think I tried to pirate them and won't help me.

Just a quick update, but it just started working all of a sudden. didn't do anything and even the most recent update doesn't seem to be the cause.
