This is either in a different universe or i dont know. The whole thing makes 0 ... ZERO sense!
Not even once are they trying to go SSGod / SSBLUE or ...even UI / MUI which is not even a transformation.
Like seriously, i get it that they are kids ...but no where did the wish ever include anything about making them weaker.
And seriously... latest episode 18....they add SSJ4??? and it looks sooo much worse and is even less impressive then the OG one???

Such disrespect and so much bad writing...just speechless.
Even more speechless if someone managed to enjoy this piece of trash

What i dont understand, is why the changed ssj4 ? I mean, sure, do it IF its an improvement....but as it is now? I think OG SSJ4 looks way better / cooler and even the reason and HOW they reached it was way more dramatic with way more weight then just this forced daima trash up our throats! Toriyama wasn't much involved in DB after Dragonball Minus.

Not to mention, Dragon Ball Minus sucked a lot. I mean, Toei's original Bardock was way better in every conceivable way, 'canon' be damned. I think it goes without saying that we all respect Toriyama very much, but that doesn't mean we have to pretend everything he touched was gold.

Reasonable post -- I enjoyed Daima, but it makes sense for someone to not like it, though disliking it for retcons or not making sense doesn't make very much sense in of itself as Dragon Ball Super and even Dragon Ball Z does the same thing (and Shenron is almost always the target of this... poor homie). Still, your way of thinking makes sense and I respect it.

I think it doesn't show up because SSG outclasses it entirely. They could also mention that SSJ 4 is what inspired Beerus' SSG dream in the first place, he senses Goku going SSJ 4 while he is sleeping. And after the events of Daima he cannot obtain the form again, any reason could be given for that.

there is no hope about it the 2 shows just cant fit together

keep in mind japan has a very different view of the word canon to them it largely just means official work
