This is either in a different universe or i dont know. The whole thing makes 0 ... ZERO sense!
Not even once are they trying to go SSGod / SSBLUE or ...even UI / MUI which is not even a transformation.
Like seriously, i get it that they are kids ...but no where did the wish ever include anything about making them weaker.
And seriously... latest episode 18....they add SSJ4??? and it looks sooo much worse and is even less impressive then the OG one???

Such disrespect and so much bad writing...just speechless.
Even more speechless if someone managed to enjoy this piece of trash

It takes place after defeat of Buu but before Super/BoG movie. That’s why no forms introduced in those. As for SSJ4 I am happy it’s canonized and we may still get explanation yet why it doesn’t show up in super etc.

ok, i checked the 1st episode again, true ...but ..still...the way the whole thing happend....was way to rushed and even ssj4 was way way unjustified and way less special then GT.
I would have rather had GT happen durring this time.

Maybe so, but it’s better to have it that way than not at all. Also putting GT here wouldn’t make any sense. Daima could’ve been better, yes, but as it is now, is good enough for me. I can’t wait for Vegeta SS3, Goku SS3/4, whatever fusion is coming and everything else to come to Sparking!Zero and Kakarot!

no disrespect to toriyama but the way he just crams in a new series between already existing ones resulting in stuff getting retconned and random °ss transformations is just god awful. high possibilties that ssj3 vegeta and ssj4 goku are never seen again post daima. all that for fan service, merchandise and dlc

exactly, this seems extremely forced and im really thinking with Toriyama was actually the one behind adding all these forms or not.

I get the story aspect, the more story and world buiding the better, but all the forms and retcons ..... cmon -_-

Unfortunately Toriyama forgot just one thing, the reason fans love so much SSJ4 is because of how sheer cool and badass that form looks. Toriyama's version looks goofy and all around bad, doesn't look cool nor badass, not my SSJ4.

i bet SSJ4 goku wasn't even planned, they just rushed it into it to avoid even more bad reviews.

This was Akira Toriyama twist on the whole story of GT and making it cannon, It was heavily influenced on the series. The way the transformation even occurred was a tad bit odd and it is very much possible the transformation can only be done with the help of nava's magic. The guy is full of tricks and shows just what a namakian can really do. I didn't mind it at all to be entirely honest and i don't think that the ss4 will be a transformation that can just happen. It's more than likely going to be a thing they unlock for the fight and require the help of Nava to accomplish, almost like how he is able to increase the power level of the Tamagami. It almost reminds me of how Grand elder guru unlocked krillen and gohans hidden potential but this being a less permanent power up.

I want everyone to remember that only the first 3 episodes of daima were completed 100% before Toriama passings and its very likely that some of the changes were made by Toyotarou.

Even tho Daima does seem a bit rushed and the story heavily leaning on the shoulders of GT, I can still appreciate how every fight had something unique to offer and how amazing they were animated. Some of the episodes battles you would expect straight out of a movie, For example when Goku obtains the first dragonball. There was no lack of detail in that fight what so ever.

You can say that it was for the pure purpose of fan service and to sell merch, But when it comes to vegeta finally having the ability to transform into ssj3 there has been tons of speculations and hints during super that ssj3 was just not used due to how much stamina and ki it managed to drain. The entire series of super SS3 was utilised twice by goku. Its just not a optimal form for long battles. The form based on every explanation out there is just terrible, Its the same reason why none of the characters utilise grade 2 ss, Its just not a good transformation to use. So its not exactly unacceptable to explain the lack of vegeta using the form during super just based off the simple fact its not optimised.

I have a feeling ssj4 is going to only be achievable based on Nava magic, which might be explained in the last 2 episodes. Will have to wait and see.
