Piccolo vs Frieza alternate path help

How do we beat this? He always auto transforms and I had him at no hp quickly at his third form. I still do not get the alternate path.

thats not the only alternate path with nonsense condition. in goku's story you need to beat raditz within 2 minutes, nothing to do about it besides getting gud

I already beat that mission. I am stuck with this Piccolo one.

Actually I got hit by pure luck: first you cannot beat him before he transforms (as it triggers a specific health threshold), second you MAY need to avoid his final attack once he is transformed (I say may because I avoided it, and piccolo commented about that, then proceed to defeat him), not sure if this is really needed for the alternate path.

yer the timing on this one is super difficult, and im having issues with pulling it off, ive done the Goku Vegita and Gohan alt paths , but this threshold is Very difficult

Ok so i finally did this , and ill just say that you dont need to kill him in 2nd form , you will succeed in 3rd form , thing to note is he has super armour, so you need to be in a position to enter full power/sparking mode to nullify it and he has a free regardless of if you are melee juggling him Ult that you have to be ready for

I finally did it. So much effort but you don't get a special ending for Piccolo. I hate this even more lol.

Im having trouble too. I even blocked his auto ultimate he gets and afterwards it disabled my controls and the normal ending proceeded
edit. I dodged him ultimate and then killed him but got the same old ending

Guys. This one is bugged. Put the game on "easy mode" before you go into the battle. We all are accidentally activating the alternate path.
