Steamdeck takes forever to save!
Ive been enjoying the game mainly on my Steamdeck. The only problem is after every fight you have to save and it takes more then 30 seconds to do so. I have a 2TB and it saves perfect on every other game. Anytips?

If you can try to connect online and see if it makes a difference

Everyone, connecting to the internet fixes the long saving time

I have no idea why in offline mode its so slow, must be some spaghetti code moment

Man glad I found this thread. So the issue truly is that playing without an internet connection makes it save slowly?

I did hear that the game tries to upload your save after every fight or something, and that’s why the saving is so slow when you’re offline.

You think it’s something they will bother to patch?

maybe we can test by disabling the steamcloud

doubt they will patch it soon, or ever.
How does it run on deck? Been meaning to try it out on mine, but wasn’t sure if it were compatible or not.
