FACT: Vegeta is undefeated against Goku
3-0 (pronounced "Three-Oh"), also known as AT's Will and The Score, is the undeniable a priori truth of Dragon Ball that Prince Vegeta IV has defeated Son Goku thrice in battle, whereas Goku has never defeated Vegeta. In their first encounter, The Prince completely brutalizes his vassal, breaking every single bone in Goku's body until he literally passes out from the pain, satisfying the KO condition for victory. He is forced to lie on the ground doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing for the remainder of Vegeta's campaign on Earth, while his own son and his best friend are both getting mauled by Vegeta. Goku later admits that he was completely outclassed and defeated by Vegeta, and begs Krillin (who, unlike Goku, can actually be argued to have won against Vegeta) to spare Vegeta, because he is butthurt about losing to him and wants the salty runback.

However, a rematch would not happen for a long time, presumably because Goku did not want to challenge Vegeta until he was a million times stronger than him. However, Majin Vegeta eventually forces the rematch by threatening to blow up innocent people until Goku accepts. In their second bout, Goku naively lets his guard down, foolishly believing their duel was over. The Prince, who is not known to play by arbitrary rules and "honor", cleverly exploits this, and proceeds to knock a distracted Goku out from behind, once again satisfying the K.O. condition for victory.

Goku lost again in the Super Hero movie.

Thus, the score is 3-0. Vegeta is 3-0 vs Goku. As in Vegeta won thrice. Vegeta beat Goku three times. Vegeta = 3 wins, Goku = 0 wins. Vegeta won 3 times. Vegeta won thrice. Vegeta beat Goku once, then once more and then once again for a total of three times. Goku has never beaten or won against Vegeta. Vegeta beat and won against Goku thrice.

I love the idea that Vegeta can only best Goku in a head-on battle, but cant show him up in any other respect (like vs anyone else).

He probably just baited into you literally showing even Vegeta never thought he beat him until that specific moment lmfao

Vegeta had to flee from earth on their first encounter, easy to see why he consider this as losing. Also, he had to resort to the great ape form because he was struggling.

Then on namek Goku shows up stronger, and even defeat Frieza while turning ssj. Another big loss in Vegeta's mind.

He thought he was finally the strongest against Cell, until Goku manages to get way stronger than him again, and then dying without giving Vegeta a chance to catch up with him. Another loss in Vegeta's mind.

Then, on Buu's time, Goku shows up being stronger than him despite all of his training, to a point where he had to resort to babidi to get to the same level of power. Then Goku shows that he has one more level above with ssj3. Another loss for Vegeta in his mind.

Winning or losing is not solely a matter of having a hand to hand fight.

Goku won against majin vegeta, this is like saying beating someone asleep is a win

goku beaten vegeta multible times tho o.o
or why do you think is vegeta always complaining about how much stronger goku is and beating him all the time with his own words ... OP´s post makes no sense. did OP even watched the anime at all? aka DBZ and DB super lol.

You have to be pretty brain damaged to consider majin Vegeta's fight a W. That's like saying you're a boxing champion because you suffocated your competition to death in their sleep. Even Vegeta said in the dub something a long the lines of them continuing their fight or have a proper match after the Buu distraction is eliminated. He knocked Goku out mainly so that he could selfishly kill Buu and take all the glory himself, instead of having Goku being the hero again.

He doesn't even consider having a win in the saiyan saga. Even the og va keeps saying that Goku was always a step ahead of him, although I would personally let him have it.

For someone who seems to be such a Vegeta fanboy, you haven't the slightest clue who he is. Well done lol

This is fantastic bait, but one of the things that's really fun about their rivalry is neither of them personally feels like he's ever beaten the other one (at least prior to Super Hero, but given Vegeta's neurosis I give it ten minutes before he goes from glad he won to pissed it was in base form and therefore doesn't count until he beats UI Goku). They both consider the Saiyan Saga a loss from their own perspective, and neither feels like the Buu saga duel had a real finish (though Vegeta probably knows he was toast given SSJ3 was waiting for him).

Even GT fits into this if you want it to, where Goku beats "Vegeta" but not in his right mind, and needs help from basically the entire rest of the cast to do it.

There's no "clean" win for either of them in any series, at least not by a definition either would find satisfactory.

That all said, technically OP is still right, Vegeta beats Goku on Earth before being defeated by Gohan/Krillin/Yajirobe, Vegeta is the one who walks away conscious from the Buu fight (though he cheats to do it, albeit partially for Goku's benefit), and Vegeta technically wins the base form duel in Super Hero.

He ultimately lost to Gohan, who he generally showed more respect to than Kakarot after that.

Everything worked out all according to this HawlSera's plan! From the very begining!
