Explain A+B button long range instant transmission pls?
Short and medium range gets you behind an opponent but long range uses ki to move forward an inch? explain pls? is this a bug?

Long range is like medium range but it brings you closer to the enemy and doesn't hit. I don't think it's worth it against the AI but it might be useful against a person who thinks a special is incoming.

Also medium range gets you in front of the enemy.

"closer" is only an inch thoo. a short dash closes way more distance than that. watching the demo for the training even has me like whaaaat?

I've dodged beam and charge specials with the long range vanish. When at long range take your thumb off the stick, hold R! and double tap A to instantly close the distance.

the move is specifically for this post is the A+B button which again at long range only moves you an inch? lmao

Yeah… I don’t quite understand the whole inch thing. Maybe it’s good for dodging blasts but I don’t see it being any different than a perfect dodge except it costs Ki? It would be more useful if it closed the distance like a dash or could use it directionally like a dash.
