the game does not open / el juego no abre

I bought the ultimate version and installed but i cant play beacuse the game crashes instantly

Check your task manager, sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I see the .exe pop up for a few seconds and then it's just gone like it crashes without any warning. I haven't even seen the damn startup screen or intro to the game, missed 2 days of early access and will most likely miss out of the third and final. Actually depressing

Same here, the game does not start.

My specs:
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64 
Host: Pulse GL76 12UEK REV:1.0 
Kernel: 6.8.0-45-generic 
Resolution: 1920x1080 
CPU: 12th Gen Intel i7-12700H (20) @ 4.600GHz 
GPU: Intel Alder Lake-P GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics] 
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q 
Memory: 4606MiB / 31796MiB 

It is already reported as working on linux and steam deck. So this could be something else.

Maybe the issue is the double GPU?

Adding -dx11 did the trick for me.

Ended up being the actual Steam Client itself for me in my case. I had to completely uninstall Steam and also remove an old version of steam off of a different hard drive that I no longer used as my main drive. After reinstalling the Steam Client, I ran the game and the ELUA agreement popped up and I was able to accept and the game started up, and has run like butter since.

Nah man don't mention it. Completely reasonable not to think of it too considering the f****** steam client shouldn't prevent the G#DDAM* game from running! Get your s*** together VALVE!! Hopefully you didn't lose out on your entire pre-order like I did.
