Final mission secondary requirements for Piccolo Episode is bugged

Its stated to defeat 17 and Cell quickly, but 17 will disappear regardless if enough time has passed or gets to a certain amount of health before Cell drops in.

And i swear it doesn't matter how much health you have, or how quickly you drop his, if Piccolo tells 17 to go, then that's it, you don't fulfill the secondary objectives. I've been on this for an hour, going in with very little damage to my health bar yet every single time, the mission bugs and makes you finish it normally

And they both fight like hell. There's no way on this earth that you can finish it without losing any of your own HP

Yeah tried it several times it and it doesn't make sense. Last time I tried it I did it perfectly with me taking almost no hits and Cell losing 4 bars of HP from an Ult and SBC and still got the line for 17 to run ending it. Unless I'm missing something I don't see how it's possible to take out all of Cell's HP before 20-30 (?) seconds is up.

I figured out the issue. It may have a timer tied to the challenge but it's based more on health lost. Tested it out by drawing out the fight without taking much damage and it definitely took Cell much longer to use that voice line.

OP if you still haven't completed the challenge you can cheese it just like old Tenkaichi 3. Charge up to Piccolo's ult, spam energy balls, and while the bot is swatting them away (or getting hit) launch the ult. Just do that three times. Pretty funny it still works after all this time in the new entry.

Yeah I managed to get it done but its hella random as to when it happens. It just required taking down Cell's HP as fast as possible with little to no damage taken in return, and Hellzone grenade spam at the right times.

Now for the Third form Frieza one. This is starting to get even more annoying to do

Yeah the Frieza was hard. Gotta use that sparking to bash 2nd form to delay 3rd form transformation and still damage him asap.

I literally perfected 17 and cell no health lost, then immediately after cell died, and 17 jumped back in, Piccolo said the failed mission text and I lost, I DID NOT LOSE A SINGLE POINT OF HP, almost burst a blood vessel in my brain jesus

I can confirm this fight is not bugged, since I beat it after probably 30+ tries

Rules
1. Can't take more than 2 life bars.

2. 17 will leave once you have 5 ki stacks, or if you deal 2-3 bars of damage
I recommend flying to the glass ceiling avoid 17, build up 4.5 stacks, go at him with sparking combo, and try to time it where Cell shows up to replace 17 while you're combing, continue the combo on Cell, then Ult, this will make him lose tracking long enough to go sparking again.

3. It seems that you get more time for dealing damage to Cell. (Possibly also 17)

4. As soon as you hear Piccolo tell 17 to run, that's basically "TIMES UP", so retry right then because it's already over. Also, if you get Solar Flared by Cell, you should probably Retry at that point too since you lose several valuable seconds.

Basically, you can't get hit with hardly anything and you need to maximize Sparking AND the Ult. You'll need to do this twice: At least 1 full sparking combo followed by and ult.

Because of time restraints, you can't get combo'd, you got counter the counters.

My thumb hurts, but I did it lol.

You can lose HP just not too much, where are you getting this information from lol, 17 Will automatically go at a certain point focus on downing Cell as fast as you can he is the important one so try to have as much ki as possible and dont take the battle to the water so you dont slow down Ki Charge

I finally defeat cell and 17 come back and then the cell´s line appear even defeated...
