Jiren's Saga: Ultimate Climactic Battle 3rd ending conditions?

Been doing the final battle in Jiren's story for a few hours trying to get the alternate path. If you go below 2 bars against Goku, Jiren is elminated like normal. If you defeat all of them before then, Jiren wins the tournament in the 2nd ending. Apparently it needs to be triggered after fighting Master Roshi somehow but am I supposed to exit out of the story scenario before the fight with Frieza, 17, Vegeta and Goku starts?

The trigger for the proper what if route is the same as the second ending, but you have to enter the fight from the True Strength route by not helping with Kale. Even if you've already done that route, I wasn't able to trigger it by starting from the last fight of the True Strength route before it merged back into the main route, I had to start it fresh from the Kale choice.

I did it earlier just fine after following the other guy in this threads advice of starting from the kale choice. ignore kale, do all the fights, and in the final battle just go sparking mode, spam rush into super, and wipe them all with full health, you should get the last ending.

You can pause and look at the alternate clear conditions in the menu

the issue is that even when following said conditions it won't clear, its a very big issue it seems from Reddit, other forums, and here now

Yep, it worked. I even retried on the final battle to make sure it didn't prematurely end the fight when Goku got me in a combo and was relieved to hear the new dialogue when Goku was KO'd.

Yes, you are locked out of the ending if you haven't started from the beginning with the choice of defeating Kale or not interfering which is annoying. Choose Wait and see with Kale and then you begin fighting Goku instead and then keep playing until the end until the final match after the Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku fight and don't let your health get too low.

I did both routes TWICE and i still cant get the last checkpoint :/

I hope they fix that soon because i have the same issue on the "Goku Black Saga"...

This didn’t work for me I literally just keep doing it over and over and I got good enough to have 4 and a half bars left and I didn’t get to finish goku off this is so annoying and I’m honestly so done

You have to trigger the True Justice Route and fight Roshi. After that, skip out to the map and play the last fight again and beat them as quickly you can (4 minutes of time you have!)

Note: If Frieza says something to Goku with this promise to revive him, it is too late!!!

If frieza says anything you still have time, frieza just says it when goku is low on hp

After getting mad and thinking I would need to restart after doing the whole route and getting the goku win ending, I said ♥♥♥ it and quit during the story slideshow cutscenes, hit continue and did the last fight again without going to the story map and it worked. I read this post as, you have to do the whole route EVERY TIME if you mess up. so if anyone else though that too just keep this in mind
